Simón Fisher (Ricardo Darín) is an expert explosives engineer whose vehicle is towed by a tow truck because it was presumably wrongly parked. The driver cannot stop thinking that it is an injustice and decides to go and demand the cancellation of the fine, at the risk of being late for his daughter's birthday. After a frustrated attempt to beat the bureaucracy, he ends up paying the ticket and is late for the party. Her wife, angered by her tendency to let her down and "find an excuse for everything," asks for a divorce from her. The next day, Simón goes to the City Government, to request that the fine be canceled, but again they deny it. In the midst of this situation, he explodes in anger and hits the glass panel of the public employee who was treating him with a fire extinguisher. The case becomes famous, he loses his job and during the divorce proceedings, the lawyer for his wife uses the event as an argument to ask that the engineer not have joint ownership of his daughter. Simón, irritated and exhausted from not getting another job, is once again forced to take out his car, which was again badly parked. Tired of this, he puts explosives in his vehicle and purposely misplaces it to be towed away. The subsequent explosion of the trailer center has a tremendous impact on the media and "Bombita" becomes an idol on social networks, an idol of people fed up with bureaucratic hell. At the end of the story, the woman and her daughter bring a happy birthday cake to the engineer, who was imprisoned, celebrating the day as a happy family while the other prisoners congratulate him euphorically.

When Szifron sent the script to Darín, he told him that he saw it as possible in two stories; After reading the script 2 or 3 times, Darín concluded "that his heart was closer" to this character.

The film is dedicated to Szifron's father, who died in 2013, who introduced his son to the world of cinema.
